Sixth Degree Black Belt, Master Renato Tavares has amassed 9 world championships and 14 Pan Am championships among countless others throughout his over half a century of competing and perfecting his sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
But his greatest success is measured by the lives he has shaped in the process of learning their sport. Our four children train under him and the impact he and his coaches have made in their lives and in support of how we raise our kids has been remarkable.
In this interview he talks about his sport, the hard times and good times, his vision for the future, all in service to God.
