Bryan Thomas was a statistic, and then God performed a miracle.
He was raised in a violent and dysfunctional home where alcohol and drug use began early and was a family affair. It started when he was a little boy and by the age of 16 he was a full-blown thug, a drug user, and dealer and living the hard and fast life. One day he held up a store at gunpoint and as a result was staring down the prospect of a life sentence in prison.
But God had him even then, even as lost as he was. The judge was unexpectedly lenient but Bryan was sentenced to serve a lengthy prison sentence. God pursued him there and ultimately he gave his life to God.
Today he is the evangelism Pastor at Oceans Unite Christian Center in Vero Beach, Florida and he also volunteers to preach at the prison he once served time in.
This interview was an emotional one, and while it’s a story of extremes, I think many people can identify with his walk, very reluctantly, toward a life with Jesus.
Buckle up. This one will touch your heart.
