Men eat here…and one and all find their end and are left humbled but richer in the knowledge of their capabilities and sheer will.

What will tonight bring…

I’m spending tonight at an undisclosed location

I’m spending tonight at an undisclosed location watching over a bunch of hard working Americans and waiting on the bad guy to show up with an idea to take their lives - when I get this from home.

This is my family, and the reason I choose to do the work that puts me here. Standing up to a bad guy that can’t reconcile their problems any other way than threatening to kill and hurt others.

We have a responsibility to stand against evil. If we don’t then who will keep our families and communities safe and free. We must choose the hard thing at times because it is the right thing.

And the strongest men I know kneel before God giving their lives to him so He can lead and guide their path. I pray for protection, and that the evil residing in this person is defeated. Ephesians 6:10-20 tells us the battle is not with flesh and blood but with evil itself.

I do this out here, so they can do this back home. And so the fathers and mothers here I am protecting can go home to their families.

Because someone has to.

If you view down time as intel gathering and strategizing time you stay focused rather than bored and distracted. That’s means you are more effective and your principal is better protected when problems arise. When…not if. Always expect problems. It keeps you sharp.
