One year ago my Uncle Leonard lost his left leg below the knee in a motorcycle accident. He has spent the past twelve months healing and learning how to get around with a prosthesis. The accident happened in Phoenix. He travels there from his home in Melfort, Saskatchewan, Canada each winter to avoid the bitter prairie weather back home.
He stopped by to visit us in Vegas this week on his way to Phoenix. He is getting around pretty well. He bought a Harley Trike and hauled it on a trailer behind his truck.
